Hi Chris, how are you ?
The two videos are very fast and some phrases were difficult to understand. I’ve actually listened several times to try to answer the above questions, but I think that’s the only way to understand the actual American conversation.
Thank you !
both of the quiz were not easy for me to understand. I play them back and again for 5 or 6 times before catching something.

Hi Christina;
Thank you for this “listening quiz” and I would like to tell that understood only words but I don’t understand complete phrases and dialogs.
BEst regards
Dominique
That’s what I understood:
Jennifer tells Christina that they are re-doing their house and repainting living-room, kitchen and bathroom. It is too small, so they want to sell it, in order to buy a bigger house. They hope to find one in the surroundings.
Paul tells Christina that the business is going good. She knows that he’s going to open another brewing. Paul says that they are in a questionable state because the ownership is changing and he’s going to become the unique owner. In the meantime, he has opened another brewing company with other partners where he is the brewmaster so basically business is well. In Missisipi the law changed, one of the last actions that passed on brewing, but I didn’t understand why this is so exciting for Missisipi. He tells Christina that now people can come to the Brewing, take a sample of beer, and….something else (perhaps walk away with a pack of beer??) 🙂

Hello, while listening I understood that in conversation #1 you are driving somewhere and your cousin tells you where to go and at the same time you’re speaking about the repairs(painting) in her house because she wants to sell it and buy a new one that will be larger somewhere around there.
And in conversation #2 you’re speaking about the brewery that he recently had become the only owner of and all the things related to the brewery.
And I’m not sure about the spelling of this word brewery)
I had to listen to the conversations three or four times before I could understand what you’re talking about
In the first video, Jennifer re-doing their living room. She will paint the kitchen, living room , bathroom. she re doing the all house because eventually she’s gonna sell the house. The reason is because it’s too small she needs a bigger one. Also, she wants to stay in the neighborhood, then near.
In the second, Paul is a brewer master. Business doing good. This business that is running now Crooked Letter, has been opened for about five years He’s gonna open a new brewery and he’s changing ownership, he’s gonna be the only owner. He’s opening a new one with a new partnership. He’s very excited because Law change in Mississippi, now customers can come at the store and work out with a six packs
I’M SO GRATEFUL AND HAPPY AT THE SAME TIME COZ I WAS ABLE TO UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE AND HAVE BEEN DOING TO HELP PEOPLE IMPROVE THEIR ENGLISH SKILLS. PEACE OUT.
